The most famous beach in Vizag city is the Rushikonda Beach. It attracts thousands of tourists every year. It is considered as one of the hottest spot for tourism in the State.
Surrounding the beach are a number of resorts for tourists where they can view the beach from the balcony of the resort enjoying the nature.
Climate here at Rushikonda beach is around 30-33 degrees and goes up to 38-40 degrees during summer.
Boat riding, swimming, fishing are the main sources of entertainment at this beach. There are around 20-22 boats used by the locals for tourists, and to ride them is such a pleasent experience.
